Authorities are thanking the public for their assistance following the disappearance of a young woman.

Last seen one week, Sharon Owens was leaving her home on Manitoba Avenue in the city of Selkirk at 10 p.m. A day and a half later, on Friday at 1:20 a.m., RCMP officers received a report that the woman was missing.

Authorities are asking the public for their assistance locating the woman.

She s 5'4 tall, 100 lb, and has brown eyes and black hair. 

She was last seen wearing a black knee-length winter jacket, black Adidas sweatpants, a black hoodie and purple shoes.
