There are a few road closures to keep an eye on in Winnipeg this weekend.

Eastbound Bishop Grandin Boulevard to southbound Pembina Highway

The off-ramp from eastbound Bishop Grandin to Pembina Highway will be losed on Friday, July 14 at 8:00 p.m. and stay closed until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16 as Stage 2 over the Southwest Rapid Transitway is worked on. Pedestrian access will be maintained. The best alternate route is taking Waverely down to Bison and back towards Pembina.

Lagimodiere Boulevard and Grassie Boulevard

Paving work will be done starting Saturday, July 15 at 6:00 a.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Lagimodiere, while left turns will not be allowed. On Grassie, eastbound and westbound traffic will be required to turn right. No through traffic is allowed. The intersection will reopen on Sunday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m.

Memorial Boulevard from York Avenue to Broadway

The Collector Car Appreciation Day will shut Memorial down from 4:00 p.m. til 10:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14. At 6:00 p.m., westbound Broadway from Kennedy Street to Osborne Street will also be closed. Pedestrian access is allowed on the east sidewalk fo Memorial.

Mountain Avenue and McPhillips Street

The intersection of Moutnain and McPhillips will be closed from 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16. The City of Winnipeg will be conducting sewer work. Both directions on Mountain will have to turn right at McPhillips, while traffic on McPhillips will not be allowed to turn left. Pedestrian access remains.
