RCMP say a 48-year-old man from Winnipeg was killed in a head-on collision Thursday afternoon.
RCMP say were called at approximately 2:15 p.m. to an accident between a car and a semi-trailer on Highway 3 and Road 38 NW in the RM of Macdonald.
A semi-trailer was travelling north on Highway 3 when a car travelling southbound, crossed the centre line and collided head-on with the semi-trailer.
The Winnipeg man was the driver and lone occupant of his vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and lone occupant of the semi-trailer, a 41-year-old male from Brandon, was not injured.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision. Headingley RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continues to investigate.
