A 13-year-old girl didn't take kindly to being kicked out of a sleepover and returned with a vengeance...and a knife.

On April 25, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., General Patrol officers, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, responded to a gun call with a reported stabbing at a residence in the 500 block of Flora Avenue.

Officers located a 12-year-old female victim who had been stabbed. They provided emergency medical care, and she was transported to the hospital by paramedics in an unstable condition.

An investigation determined a group of teens were gathering at the residence when one of the party-goers (a 13-year-old female) was ousted from the residence.

She later returned armed with a knife in the company of an adult female brandishing an imitation firearm. They forcibly entered the home, confronted the residents at gunpoint, and attempted to stab one of them.

As the altercation continued, one of the youths was actually stabbed (the 12-year-old female victim), and the suspects fled.

The adult suspect was located in the 200 block of Pritchard Avenue, and an imitation firearm was seized. The youth suspect was taken into custody in the 1600 block of Magnus Avenue.

The Major Crimes Unit continued the investigation.
