The Canadian Red Cross is looking for the public’s help in choosing a new design for its Pink Day merchandise.

Pink Day is a global campaign against bullying, and encourages kids to get involved and intervene if they see bullying taking place.

Red Cross program representative Carolyn Labossiere says the new designs all revolve around their “Be Someone’s Hero” theme.

“That really looks at bullying prevention and focuses on how kids can stop bullying when they see a situation happening,” Labossiere said. “We will be starting voting today (Sept. 20, 2018) for the three different t-shirt designs and that will run until October 4th.”

The vote will be taking across the country, and the winning design will be released prior to Pink Day next year on Feb. 27, 2019.

Labossiere says the vote will allow them to connect with Pink Day participants.

“It’s a really fun way to get people engaged, together and talking about bullying prevention.”
