Zach Williams teamed up with the legendary Dolly Parton for a single, which has now hit the number one spot on Billboard's Christian Airplay chart.

On September 12 it was announced that the song "There was Jesus" moved into the number one spot, receiving 10.5 million airplay impressions last week.

During an interview with Billboard, Parton says, "Having a No. 1 record at any time is a great thing, but having a No. 1 faith-based record during these crazy times is even greater."

Parton is no stranger to being on top, hitting No. 1 twenty-five times on the Hot Country Songs chart, the most any woman has ever received.

"I feel humbled and blessed to be part of this wonderful song with Zach Williams. It does my heart good to know that we have touched the lives of so many people" says Parton.

This is Zach Williams's third time hitting No. 1 on the Christian Airplay chart. His songs "Chain Breaker" was his first in 2016 and then "Old Church Choir" dominated in 2017.

Parton recently tweeted her excitement, saying, "So proud to be a part of it, so proud of @zachwilliams, & we hope that you continue to be blessed by this wonderful song."

"There was Jesus" is the first time Parton and Williams came together on this duet. However, Parton collaborated with Christian artists For King & Country on their song to remix "God only Knows" late August of 2019.
