A 60-year-old woman has been arrested in a case where police allege a Black man was stabbed after a group of people yelled racial slurs at him at a skateboard park.
Police in Brandon say the suspect is charged with assault and public incitement of hatred. She is the fourth person to be arrested in the case.
Officers responded to reports of a fight at the park last Thursday night and said witnesses described one man and four women starting a fight with the Black man by yelling racial slurs.
The victim was taken to hospital by a bystander and was expected to make a full recovery.
