The Winnipeg Jets have suffered back-to-back losses to start their five-game homestand.

Christian Dvorak and Nick Schmaltz scored power play goals two minutes apart in the second period as the Arizona Coyotes defeated Winnipeg 4-2 Tuesday night at Bell MTS Place.

Dvorak had a pair of goals on the night and Conor Garland also scored for the Coyotes who received a 38-save performance from Darcy Kuemper.

Garland's third of the season with eight seconds remaining in the first period tied the score at 1-1.

Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor replied for the Jets who had won 10 straight against the Coyotes in Winnipeg since the franchise relocated from Atlanta in 2011.

Jets netminder Connor Hellebuyck faced 35 shots.

Winnipeg's homestand continues on Thursday when the New York Islanders visit Bell MTS Place.
