A 29-year-old man has since been released from the hospital after receiving life-threatening injuries.

At around 11:30 p.m. on August 14, the Winnipeg Police Service received, telling them a man driven to the hospital after an alleged road rage incident.

Police say a woman and a 29-year-old male passenger were driving in the East Kildonan area when they and a 20-year-old driver started arguing. Escalating, the cars pulled over.

The 20-year-old man got out of his vehicle, approaching the other vehicle and stabbing the passenger. The suspect fled.

The woman then drove the 29-year-old to the hosiptal, getting him treatment for his life-threatening injuries. The man has since been released from the hospital. 

Major Crimes has since located the suspect, arresting and charging him Monday. He is now released on an undertaking.
