Nigerian worship leader and award-winning songwriter Sinach is looking forward to what God is doing in the new year with her music and message.

Sinach wrote 'Way Maker' in 2015 and it has since been covered by over 60 Christian artists, including Michael W. Smith, Darlene Zschech, Leeland, and Mandisa. The song has been translated into 50 languages and it won Song of the Year at the 51st GMA Dove Awards, making her the first Nigerian to win the award.

"It's humbling, that God could use something," says Sinach. "Of course, He gave it to us, but the way He has used it to bless the lives of people, I'm so humbled by it. All the glory to God."

The worship leader and songwriter has just released a book called I Know Who I Am: Rising Above Your Environment and Prevailing Circumstances.

"It's about how the word of God can make you. It doesn't matter your environment. The principals that have helped me and continue to help me. For everybody that has a vision in their heart and a dream, it's how the word of God can help you."
