The City of Winnipeg has started its annual spring clean up, but it is going to take some time to complete.

Streets, boulevards, and parks are getting a full clean ahead of summer as the annual spring clean up continues from its start in mid-April.

Although crews are working constantly, they have to cover all of Winnipeg, which can take up to six weeks to complete. This includes making a second pass on streets that had cars parked on them. some streets will put up temporary 'no parking' signs 24-hours before the sweeping time.

If your street hasn't been cleaned, the City will only take requests between May 27 and June 13. Residents are asked to call 311 at that time if their street has not been cleaned, or email 311@winnipeg.ca.

Another part of spring clean up is curb and sidewalk damage. If a piece of public property is damaged, take a photo and send it along with the address to 311's email. If damage has occurred on private property, file a claim on the City of Winnipeg's website.
