A section of Main Street is closed following a crash late Friday afternoon. The crash, involving two vehicles, happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and Burrows Avenue. A truck can be seen on the sidewalk with significant damage to thr front end, while a second vehicle, an suv, sustained damage to its front bumper. There is no word on injuries at this time. Winnipeg police have shut down all northbound lanes of Main Street at Burrows. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and find another route.
